On Sunday night, the Houston Dash traveled to Providence Park to take on the Portland Thorns. The game was full of opportunities, but it was Lindsey Horan who capitalized first, as she scored a picture-perfect header in the 16th minute. Almost 15 minutes later, Horan notched a second goal for the night.
Not to be counted out, Kealia Ohai responded for the Houston Dash as she scored in the 37th minute. Her efforts, however, were not enough to keep the Dash in the game, as Ana-Maria Crnogorčević scored the third goal for Thorns.
The final result was a 3-1 win for the Portland Thorns.
