It was a tactical battle as Laura Harvey and the Utah Royals squared off with Vlatko Andonovski’s Seattle Reign. Former Boston Breaker and Canadian international, Adriana Leon made her first start for the Seattle Reign after a midseason trade from Sky Blue FC. USWNT and Reign midfielder Megan Rapinoe scored the lone goal of the match in the 54th minute in a header off of Steph Catley’s corner.
The final result was a 1-0 win for the Seattle Reign.
