Seattle Reign FC squared off against their Cascadia-rival Portland Thorns on June 30th in Seattle, Washington.
The game was a physical battle with plenty of chances for both sides. The score was tied at nil-nil until the 89th minute, where England international and Reign FC striker Jodie Taylor was able to tap in a 1-0 lead. Her goal was enough to clinch the game for Seattle Reign as they walked off with a 1-0 win.
