The crowd was buzzing with excitement as the two teams took the field. For most of the match, the Washington Spirit was able to hold off the offensive force of the Chicago Red Stars.
Ultimately, a flying header from Japanese international, Yūki Nagasato, was able to put CRS on the board. The final result was a 1-0 win for the Chicago Red Stars.
